hotshot driver safety

When it comes to safety, AB Hotshot Trucking does not cut corners.

Our team is made up of highly trained professionals who put safety at the forefront of all that we do.

All members of our team are required to take specialized training in safety programs in order to comply with the highest safety standards.

Working in the Oilfield is a safety sensitive environment. There are constant hazards around all of the time that could potentially compromise the safety of the workforce. It is because of this that we believe so strongly in educating and embodying a culture of safety in all that we do.

The aim of all the training that our staff completes is to work towards a lower risk tolerance in all that we do. Our hot shot Edmonton team is trained and passionate about maintaining a low risk tolerance and that results in a safer working environment where everyone is safety conscious.

We are committed to making sure that everyone goes home safely at the end of every work day by paying careful attention to hazard identification and ensuring that our work is safe from these hazards and so that we all stay injury free.

We believe that each and every one of us is responsible for the safety of ourselves and others in our industry and every member of our team has the same goal of preventing losses during the course of our work.

Our team has been trained to identify and report any near miss incidents, when a loss could potentially happen, but has not. This is a critical step in our safety process as it allows us to correct potential hazards proactively, rather than reactively.

Our team has been trained to always wear the appropriate personal protective devices for the job at hand. You can expect the highest level of professionalism and never have to wonder if a driver will show up to a site without proper site head or eye wear.

We also have extensive training in the transportation of dangerous goods. Should anything unexpected happen, our drivers know how to handle the situation, so that the goods being transported are handled in the safest way possible.

Because of our safety focus and training, you never have to worry about your equipment getting held up at the scales, vehicles breaking down on the road or getting stuck at a job site. We take all the necessary steps and precautions to make certain that these things don't happen. In our minds, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

When we arrive on site, our team has been trained to conduct a job safety analysis (JSA) to identify any potential hazards and work in a safe and efficient manner and not expose self to undue risks
